Giovanna Benedetti is one of the scrummiest yummiest writers I ever read in bed.
My favourite story of hers is The Rain on the Fire.
I'm sure it has influenced me more than almost any other story I’ve ever read.
She was born in Panama City in 1949 and studied law and political science in
Panama and Spain. Very little of hers is published in English.
I withdrew into a world of suspicion and silence, and ended
up overlooking what was happening . . . as all women do.
